On my previous blog, one of my favorite things to do was to round up a few things I've been liking, in a post called "It's the Little Things". A recent purchase, a photo I saw that was inspiring, or an interesting article, etc.. Just a few little things that made me smile or think. So I'm bringing it back!
The world is crazy right now. I called my mom the other day and asked her if she's experienced anything like this and she said she hasn't. We've been spending a lot of time playing, having dance parties in the
kitchen, playing outside, and learning our new temporary normal. We've been listening to a lot of worship music too, and we can see that
singing about God's greatness makes a huge difference in our outlook.
At home, I've been working away on a laundry room makeover. If you follow me on Instagram, I've been posting all the fun on stories. Next step in here is to add the front piece of wood to the counter, sand, and stain. Then I need to pick hardware, add a few accents, and I'll be done!

A few other things from my week:
This butter stick holder has changed my mornings. I make over-medium eggs almost every morning, and this is an easy way to store my stick of butter to swipe some in the pan. Bonus: It's only $5!
A clarifying moment during one of the craziest weeks of my life.
This mirror stopped me in my scroll.
We're moving our son to a twin bed soon, and I ordered the black version of our daughter's bed for him. It's a great height for a 2 year old, and an excellent price.
I found Cynthia's 2-day, $200 bathroom refresh on Pinterest and I'm seriously impressed. The way she updated her vanity is giving me inspiration for updating the dresser in our master bedroom.
I hope you have a nice weekend, and can get the opportunity to step away from the news and enjoy time with your loved ones. Thank you for stopping by!
